Clive Mattock Fundraising (CMF) has provided a fundraising service for charities since 1991 and has grown consistently to become one of the UK 's leading specialist Face-to-Face membership recruitment fundraising agencies. Currently fundraising on behalf of more than 50 individual charities CMF employs between 150 and 200 Fundraisers at any one time throughout the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland .

In 2007 CMF secured over 50,000 new memberships generating over £3 million in new annual funds for client charities.

In April 2007 CMFundraising became one of the very first independent agencies to join and commit to the new Fundraising Standards Board (FRSB) and in turn to adoption of the Institute of Fundraising 's Codes of Conduct.

CMFundraising headquarters and administrative centre is located in Plymouth , Devon where a comprehensive bespoke computer database system has been developed specifically to meet the specialist needs of charity fundraising operations. On average CMF processes approximately 300 new pledges or membership applications each day.

CMFundraising specialises in fundraising through membership recruitment and by gaining long-term donor support via monthly direct debit or credit card continuous payment schemes.

The majority of CMF's Fundraisers operate Face-to-Face: However in certain circumstances, CMF also operates a more conventional Door-to-Door approach.

Face-to-Face Fundraising:

CMF operates primarily at pre-booked venues including shopping centres, supermarkets, garden centres, national, regional and local shows and events. CMF Fundraisers work using professionally created displays to promote positive aspects of the charities we are chosen to represent. Our method of approach is very low-key, rarely using teams of more than two people at each location. Whether or not each member of the public supports the charity, the experience of being approached will be pleasant, interesting and informative. Should a prospective supporter be unsure or not prepared to sign-up “there and then” our Fundraisers offer to take contact details and personally follow-up by phone at a mutually convenient time.

Door-to-Door Fundraising:

CMF's Fundraisers personally call and deliver an information booklet to those householders wishing to consider supporting our represented charity. A return visit is made a day or so later to answer questions and to sign up new supporters.
